About
My passion is to support clients in identifying their own values and priorities, increasing self-awareness, and building resiliency
Clients who work with me learn to understand their emotional triggers better, work to overcome life’s setbacks, manage stress more productively, communicate with others more effectively, and set healthy boundaries.
My process begins with getting to know you, beyond what brought you into therapy. I seek to understand what your goals are for this journey, and we together discuss how I can support you in working on what can be changed, and learning to cope with people and situations that we cannot change.
I am passionate about making space for clients to safely share and explore all areas of identity without fear of judgement or invalidation. I am aware of my own areas of privilege and oppression, and actively work with clients who wish to explore this for themselves, as well as consider all of their intersecting identities.
I have trained and worked in a wide variety of settings including veteran and military hospitals, within integrated care teams in civilian hospitals, inpatient psychiatric wards, public schools, and private practices.
